DANCE CLASSES - YOUTH
Tap, Princess Ballet & Tumble Your little dancer will be introduced to all styles of dance including tap, ballet and floor tumbling. Dancers will have fun exploring their creativity, while developing coordination, balance and rhythm and learning basic dance steps. Dance attire for this class is a leotard, tights, and tap and ballet shoes. Students may use the dance studio’s free dance shoe rental for tap and ballet shoes (upon availability). Princess Ballet Your little ballerina will pretend that they are their favorite princess dancing with wands, flowers and crowns (provided by the dance studio). Classical Ballet Students will learn classical ballet dance to classical ballet music. Students will learn ballet positions, terminology and exercises. These exercises will help the dancer develop poise, grace and confidence. Dance attire needed for this class is a leotard and tights of any color. Introduction to Dance
Sign up for a classical ballet course or a combo dance course. Ballet is the foundation of all dances, it is important for students who wish to further their education in dance to take ballet. Ballet includes traditional barre and center work. Students will learn proper ballet technique which will build graceful, strong bodies. All students must wear pink ballet shoes, pink tights and a black leotard. Hair should be pulled in a bun. $10 material fee payable to Camelot Academy on the first day of instruction.
