The Anaheim Community Services Department
recognizes the following organizations and individuals for their outstanding donations during the months of April, May and June 2015.
Donations over $1000
2015 Summer Nights Under the Stars at Pearson Park offered great family entertainment all summer long as well as Free Concerts with support from the ANAHEIM ARTS COUNCIL $2,000, D.E.V.O.T.E. $1,500, FRISBIE MANAGEMENT MC DONALD’S RESTAURANTS ORANGE COUNTY, B & M LAWN AND GARDEN CENTER, SA RECYCLING and BOYDSTUN REALTY/IRVIN HOWARD ENTERPRISES $1,000.
The ANAHEIM ARTS COUNCIL provided $1,500 in support of the Free Movies Under the Stars at Pearson Park Amphitheatre and $2,000 to the Art Mobile that visits neighborhoods teaching visual arts through hands –on projects!
Concerts in the Canyon “Rocked it” this summer thanks to $2,500 from JSTAR AUTO GROUP and REPUBLIC SERVICES, $2,000 from ANAHEIM ARTS COUNCIL, $1,000 each from KARYN & KIMBERLY SCHONHERZ FAMILY BOWLING CENTER.

FRIENDS OF THE CANYON HILLS LIBRARY contributed $6,535 supporting the Summer Reading program and Jesse Kirby books.
ANAHEIM PUBLIC LIBRARY FOUNDATION supported the Central Library with program supplies, Bookmobile books and a Chance Theatre performance. Haskett and Ponderosa Libraries received support for a Teen Skateboard presentation, puppet program and a Teen Comic workshop with donations totaling $4,198.

• Euclid, Sunkist and East Anaheim Libraries - Summer Reading program and books.
• Ponderosa and Hasket Libraries - Summer Reading program, performances by the Spirit of Khmer Angkor (SKA) Dance and Music troupe and the Painter-Larson Academy of Irish Dance.
• Central Library - Summer Reading program, Day of the Dead and Teen Author programs.
• Heritage Services – Wet Plate Photography.
