ROBERT DENMAN APPOINTMENTS


Robert Denman has joined Liverpool property law firm JB Leitch as their new Head of Real Estate. An enfranchisement and right to manage specialist, Robert heads up the growing real estate team. He joins JB Leitch after nine years at Goldsmith Williams where he led their landlord empowerment team.

HUNTERS LAUNCHES RESIDENTIAL BLOCK MANAGEMENT DIVISION


Hunters, the UK’s sixth largest estate agency group, has joined forces with Dickinson Harrison (RBM) Ltd, managing agents for more than 120 residential blocks across the UK. As a result, RBM has become Hunters Residential Block Management and will offer the Hunters network a full range of quality block management solutions available to its customers for the first time in the estate and letting agency group’s history.

KEY APPOINTMENT FOR SLC SOLICITORS


SLC Solicitors has recruited Joanne Green to the position of head of business development. She will take responsibility for building long- term relationships with existing and new clients, who are based across the country. “Joanne brings a wealth of experience in sales, marketing and business development gained over the last 20 years,” said Neil Shearing, principal solicitor at SLC, based in Shrewsbury.


SLC, which has a workforce of around 60 people and moved to larger premises in Thornes Hall, Shrewsbury, last year, specialises in working on litigation, debt recovery and property management issues for resident management companies, managing agents, freeholders and landlords, social housing providers and small and medium sized enterprises.

CRABTREE TAKES BUSINESS CHARITY AWARD


The Crabtree Property Group has been recognised for its charity fundraising work at the 2015 National Business Charity Awards, taking the Charity Partnership (Small Business) accolade for raising £30,000 for The Lullaby Trust.


In July 2013, the company were devastated to learn of the tragic death of a long-standing employee’s 18 month old son who tragically died of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). As the Board tried to think of a tribute, it was decided that the company would celebrate 30 years in business by raising £30,000 for The Lullaby Trust, who are the leading charity in the UK working to prevent SIDS.

The Walk - a 62 mile (100 km) London to Brighton walk in May 2014. The Jump - a 10,000 ft. skydive in July 2014. The Run - a Fun Day in October 2014 comprising a 5km, 10km, a children’s run and series of stalls.


Staff also organised their own fundraising events throughout the year such as bake sales, poker and murder mystery evenings, quizzes and raffles.


Based in West Yorkshire, RBM has been managing apartment blocks for more than 15 years. The business has become one of the largest and fastest growing block management agents in its M62 corridor heartland. RBM are members of ARMA and employ IRPM qualified property managers.
