Proceeds go to the Heart of Kent Hospice.

Run a rainbow to help hospice


THE Rainbow 5K fun run is back – and it’s better and more colourful than ever. This family event in Mote Park, Maidstone on September 27 prom- ises lots of fun and laughter once the paint starts flying. Shed fire


FIREFIGHTERS were called to Hadlow Close, Maidstone after a shed caught alight. The blaze, which destroyed the


shed, is thought to have been sparked by barbecue coals, which were put in a plastic recycling bin. The fire damaged fence panels as well as fascia and soffits of two properties. Crews quickly brought the fire under control.
