Rediscover Kent with free guided bike rides


If you’re keen to get out on your bike and explore more of your local area this summer, but don’t know where to start, a series of free guided bike rides across Kent could be the answer.


Part of a national campaign to get more people cycling


for fun and fitness, Sky Ride Local offers a fantastic range of themed guided bike rides taking place throughout the summer months. Each ride is guided by a friendly British Cycling Ride Leader, and there are rides for all abilities.


Upcoming rides include Maidstone History and Heritage (11 miles) on 15 August, and the Maidstone City Streets and Park Life 21 miler on 20 September.

Keep Kids Active with the Ten Minute Shake Up!


Active kids are happy kids! Help them to get their recommended daily 60 minutes of physical activity with 10 Minute Shake Ups!


Change for Life has teamed up with Disney to provide this fantastic summer holiday resources to get kids moving. They can sign up to one of four Disney teams and enjoy loads of fun games and activities over the summer holidays, with free posters, stickers and wristbands to encourage them on their way!
