Hegarty Maths is another video series which allows you to select detail for whichever exam board you are working with. Both are highly regarded and extremely useful particularly with flipped learning approaches.

Postcard Sets The mathematical association produce two sets of flashcard sets - one for Foundation level containing 48 killer facts needed for a C grade and 80 killer facts for an A* and they are reasonably priced at around £5; cheaper if you buy more.


These sets of flashcards can be used to very good effect in a number of ways: 1.


As an initial diagnostic of what a student already knows & what’s left to learn

As a motivator - a tangible way of seeing progress made and crystallising what needs to be learned.


As a revision tool - being able to state the fact in full and check learning.


These packs have been given to participating colleges within the project and they have been received well with many asking if there is an equivalent for English, which unfortunately there is not.
