Building PEE Paragraphs as a Class
Students will struggle to write these paragraphs. After all, they’re not easy things to write! It can help to build the paragraphs together as a class.
Activity Glue a text (visual or written) to flipchart paper or sugar paper. Then students go through two stages as below.

Firstly students read the text and draw arrows from the text to the side and add a point and evidence.
Then they rotate and read one another’s points and add a sentence exploring the effect of that point/evidence.
Then they rotate again, seeing if they can add another sentence exploring another perspective or effect.
