ISSUE SPOTLIGHT: EXHIBITIONS & CONFERENCING

ISSUE SPOTLIGHT

The founder of an events company in Milton Keynes is organising a fund-raiser in aid of Ebola affected orphans in Sierra Leone. Francess Samura, owner of Jahnaiah Events, who is

originally from Sierra Leone, lost a close member of her family to the deadly virus in December and is not only concerned for other family members but the people of Sierra Leone.

‘THE AIM IS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR EBOLA AFFECTED ORPHANS AND LOCAL HOSPITALS’

The founder is holding a dinner dance at Hilton Hotel, Milton Keynes, on Saturday 11 April, to support an orphanage in the West African country that is caring for children whose parents have died during the Ebola crisis.

Whether you are organising an event to promote your business or raise funds for charity, Milton Keynes has a wealth of venues to suit all your EXHIBITIONS & CONFERENCING needs and budgets

EVENT TO RAISE EBOLA FUNDS She also wants to highlight the lack of medical

equipment and diagnostic materials available in Sierra Leone. Francess said: “The aim is to raise funds for Ebola

affected orphans and local hospitals in order to provide affordable care, machines and treatment to the community. This includes buying a diagnosis machine that will provide proper diagnosis for patients within the community of Sierra Leone. “At present the medical facilities are insufficient,

poor and therefore the hospitals are unable to diagnose effectively, especially when there is an outbreak or crisis.”

The dinner dance will be held at the venue in Timbold Drive, Kents Hill Park. For more information contact Francess on 07535 624805 or visit: www.jahnaiahevents.co.uk
