Annual One-Year Chinese Herbology Program Launches in March
cine testing, as well as how emotion and weather affect us? Want to learn the healing properties of Chinese herbal formulas and their role in keeping our bodies strong and treating disharmonies?
W Our Annual One-Year Chinese Herbology Program starts March
21. It is a powerful course in studying the differential diagnosis of Traditional Chinese Medicine and its uses today. All courses are taught with an emphasis on clinical diagnosis as practiced in China today in a down-to-earth way. Let your intentions be known as space is limited.
Laura Mignosa is the Director of the school and was a co-inves- tigator with a UCONN clinical study to identify how Chinese Herbs can help menopausal symptoms for women with breast cancer. The wealth of knowledge she received both in China and the United States enables her to share this affordable, safe and effective medi- cine with all who seek it.
She has lectured on Chinese Herbology for over 2 decades locally and regionally, was the founding co-chair of Education for the Greater Hartford Holistic Health Association and founding Vice President of the CT Herb Association. Her studies in Taiwan and China over these 19 years allowed her to provide students and other holistic-minded travelers to experience how to mesh Eastern and Western ideas of health together.
Laura provides Appointments for Care for anyone desiring to maintain their health or who have a chronic or diffi cult disharmony that Western Medicine seems to have no answers for.

Celiac disease and non-celiac gluten sensitivities are a grow- ing health concern and with more allergy awareness at schools, this book would be an important addition to any book shelf whether it’s in a library, school or home.
Book Summary: Gluten-Free Ghouls is about six hungry green ghouls who dive into dumpsters and tip over trash cans in search of their favorite junk-food treats only to discover that their not-so-healthy eating habits can create some frustrating and itchy symptoms. Their only solution is to eat a gluten-free diet.
First-time Author from Connecticut, Paige Lawrence, self-published a children’s book called Gluten-Free Ghouls that is now available on
