The 2015 Awards were launched at a breakfast for the judges, sponsors and supporters on December 3 at Coworth Park in Ascot. Property professionals from across the Thames Valley region are being invited to enter their schemes, companies and towns for the 2015 Thames Valley Property Awards, organised by Thames Valley Property and The Business Magazine.

Last year’s inaugural awards were a huge success,

with more than 330 people gathering at Ascot Racecourse in May to celebrate property success from across the region. Winners included Maidenhead, named Town of the Year; the University of Reading’s real estate team and the town’s station redevelopment; Honda’s move to Slough and the ongoing success of Milton Park in Abingdon. Nominations for 2015 are invited from a geographical area that stretches from Oxford in the north, to Basingstoke and Guildford in the south and from Newbury in the west across to Hounslow in the east. The closing date for entries is March 12.

Tim Smith, chief executive of Thames Valley Berkshire Local Enterprise Partnership and an Awards' judge, said: “It is an exciting time for our region with major infrastructure and building projects at all stages of development and we shouldn’t underestimate how vital a role this plays both within Thames Valley Berkshire and in the success of the economy of the south-east of England. These awards are intended to recognise this role and celebrate the best that the property sector in the Thames Valley has to offer.

“We were absolutely delighted by the response in 2014, the first year of the Thames Valley Property Awards, and we are looking forward to an even better response and bigger event in 2015.”

Organisers David Murray and Matthew Battle added: “The scope of the Thames Valley Property Awards means we are confident of attracting a high calibre of entries again this year. As the biggest property region outside of London and home to many global corporations, we have something to shout about and the Awards provides a platform to promote the best we have to offer.”

The Awards dinner will be held at Ascot Racecourse on May 14, hosted by well-known TV and radio personality Gyles Brandreth.
