Free Football and Boxing Clubs for 14 – 24 year olds.


If you’re aged 14-24 and would like to try a new sport or enhance your existing skills, come along to one of our FREE boxing or football drop in sessions in Parkwood, Shepway or South Park. There’s no need to pre-book and no previous experience is required as all levels of ability are welcome, from across the whole borough. improved wellbeing for life. Weight


Management


Programmes suitable for adults with a Body Mass Index of 28 and above, and young people 5 years and above for a family centred approach.


Exercise Referral


Helping people become more active for life and improve confidence within a group setting or with support from an individual. Suitable for adults with a BMI of 28 and above or low level mental health


conditions. Falls Prevention


Weekly classes for people who would like to improve their confidence in getting out and about and around their home. This gentle exercise class is suitable for people 65 and over who lack confidence in moving around and/or are at risk of falling.

Walking for Health


Free, regular short walks across the borough offer you the chance to get outdoors and meet new people. Individuals who do little or no exercise are encouraged to attend and walk at their own pace.


NHS Health


Checks A free MOT for those aged 40- 74, looking at your risk of developing heart disease, stroke, kidney disease or diabetes.
