John Fahey has joined Tyler Technolo-
gies as a member of the consulting team for Versatrans. Fahey recently retired from the Buffalo, N.Y., City School District where he was an assistant superinten- dent for 18 years. At Tyler, Fahey will be part of the professional services team that consults with school districts regarding the efficiency, organization and overall effectiveness of their transportation op- erations. Fahey’s first major task will be working with Boston Public Schools to help organize their implementation of Versatrans Routing and Planning.
Transfinder expanded its development
team with the addition of David Tomas as software developer. In this role, he joins the development team for Routefinder Pro, Transfinder’s bus
routing solution
for school districts. Prior to joining Trans- finder, Tomas was employed by Market Force Information where he was a soft- ware development engineer and worked on their internal management application and database programming for in store merchandise and auditing.
National Express Corporation recently
announced a change in top tier manage- ment, with David Duke slated to join the organization as Chief Executive Officer in June 2011. Duke most recently served as senior vice president of sales at FirstGroup America. Currently, industry veteran John Elliott has assumed the role of CEO of National Express. Elliot retired from Dur- ham School Services in 2008 after serving as president and chief executive officer of the company.
