COVER STORY

Super By Ryan Gray

THREE YEARS AGO, BARBARA SCOTTO WAS HANDED A VISION TO IMPLEMENT. As the new transportation supervisor for Washington County Public Schools in Maryland, she was directed to develop a

transportation hub to benefit high school students so they could attend magnet and signature schools. Superintendent Dr. Elizabeth Molina Morgan had long wanted a school bus network that would bring teens from all across the 458-square-mile area, a monumental task that was realized at the beginning of this school year.
