THE BUZZ An Invitation to all Light Workers P

lease join in celebrating the second annual White Friday, a Day of Light & Bliss. This event is designed to promote health, hap- piness, and gratitude for self and others during the winter holiday season.

Elizabeth Jackson of Body & Soul Health Solutions, along with

Kathy Milair of Center for Balanced Living, celebrate what is tradi- tionally known as “Black Friday” (the day after Thanksgiving here in the USA) by devoting the day to providing 15 minute treatments and services in exchange for a suggested $20.00 donation. All proceeds from the day benefit The Opportunity Alliance, a local organization that provides support, advocacy, and leadership to help families, individuals and communities identify their goals and address their needs. Last year, the goal was to raise $500 for this organization. The event was a great success thanks to a handful of talented profes- sionals who volunteered their time and to the many grateful people who came by and benefitted from a treatment and donated to the cause. Over $600 was raised after expenses! The vision is for White Friday to become widely celebrated in the healing arts community as a day of service, light & bliss. There are many organizations that provide services for individuals who otherwise would go without basic needs; they employ lightworkers who selflessly care for others despite being financially under- com- pensated. You can provide a boost to these organizations and/or their employees by raising money and asking that it be specifically targeted to benefit them. There are many well-known charitable organizations to choose from or you could choose a nursing home, retirement community, day-care, or any organization or cause that is near and dear to your heart. As a light worker, you have chosen to be a beacon for people

who want to remember who they are when they are unencum- bered by stress. You use your talents and gifts to help others return to wholeness in any given moment. What better time than holiday time to help raise the vibration of those around you? You can participate in White Friday by volunteering your servic-

es for the day or part of the day at Center for Balanced Living, home of Body & Soul Health Solutions, or by setting up your own White Friday event at your place of practice. If you choose to hold your own White Friday event, I would love to meet with you to provide you with a blueprint of the intention and procedures that can make this day a success for you and all beneficiaries. You can also participate by stopping by and enjoying a 15 minute session (Chair -massage, Reiki, Craniosacral, Tarot, Dream Interpretation, EFT) at Center for Balanced Living, 74 Lunt Rd, Suite B2, Falmouth ME anytime between 9AM and 3PM on Friday No- vember 29, 2014. There will also be raffle prizes given away hourly throughout the day. You need not be present to win.

If you would like more information about how you can participate in White Friday, a Day of Light and Bliss, you can contact me by phone at (207) 781-5100 after October 1st, by e-mail at ejackson@ bodysoulmassagereiki.com, or on face book @ Body & Soul Health Solutions.
