ANOTHER BLENDED MARGARITA PLEASE...
September’s heat wave was brutal. All we wanted
to do was sit under an umbrella poolside, enjoying iced drinks, or hanging at home in front of the air conditioner. Was your month as packed as ours? We celebrated
birthdays in our clan, with both mother Alexa Xochilt Pussycat and Jessica celebrating. We attended Kinky Boots, rode the roller coasters at Six Flags, for Out on the Mountain and, of course, worked a couple of stages around town. Daisy: The heat did not stop our fun. I mean we
didn’t set foot outside during the day but during the cool nights, it was a different story. Jessica: The heat was bad enough, but the humid-
ity made it even worse. It was so not conducive to doing my hair for a night out. We hope October will be much cooler, because
Halloween is just around the corner. No one looks sexy drenched in sweat, when they’re attempting to show off a one-of-a-kind costume. But, before we go on about where to show up for
Halloween, let’s see what the rest of October has in store for us. We love art and we hope you guys can make it to
the Art & Craft Show Old Town, on Saturday and Sunday, October 4 and 5. This juried show features professional craft designers and fine artists, display- ing an amazing variety of crafts and fine art. The weekend event will feature craft demonstrations and hands-on workshops for the kids. Take in the scene and grab some food and drinks at one of Old Town’s many restaurants. Daisy: We love art, music and Mexican food. Just hold the dairy for me…it is so not my friend.

This year however, we want to welcome a new addition to The Rage Monthly family that will give you the rundown on the night life scene in San Diego. Our girl, Paris Sukomi Max, will be our new Nightlife Diva for this issue. She is here to give you the details on the best October bar events in town. Turn to page 64 and check out her recom- mendations. We know Paris will have all the 411 on what’s hot and happening at the clubs. Daisy and Jessica: We love you girl, welcome to
the family. With that, it is time to say goodbye ‘til next month.
Remember, don’t treat yourself to too many tricks (or treats, for that matter) this Halloween. Be safe and go out with a group... there’s a lot of evil out there!
XOXO
