06 September Symphony Te Garage
Te Autumn season opener at Te Garage is Symphony, where theatre meets live gig and stand-up comedy. Written by three of the UK’s hottest writers in collaboration with Fringe First-winning new writing company Nabokov, the show is an eclectic mix of stories told through raucous live music and spoken word, and is a must-see for music and theatre folk alike. You can catch the cast in the run-up to the show as they’ll be taking their mellifluous music out onto the streets of Norwich in a number of pop-up events.

Teatre Royal, Norwich
Tis September you could be seeing not only the daughter of Judy Garland, but also the man who is the voice of Mr Burns hit the stage at our very own Teatre Royal. Te month begins with the West End smash hit West Side Story. We want to live in Ameriiica! Olivier Award- winner Maureen Lipman and Harry Shearer (best known as the voice of Mr Burns in Te Simpsons) play ballroom-dancing couple Elli and Joe in in bittersweet comedy Daytona fresh from the West End Sept 15-20th. It’ll make you laugh and cry, fo shiz. Also heading to Norwich is To Kill A Mockingbird on September 22-27. Tis classic play based on the timeless novel follows the story of lawyer Atticus Finch and his feisty daughter Scout who aim to bring peace to a small town gripped by racial prejudice. Completing the month is Puttin’ On Te Ritz. Top singers and dancers recapture those golden moments from the best known movies. Adding an extra dose of glitz and glamour will be the Lorna Luft, sister to Liza Minnelli, who will make a special guest appearance. Masses of theatre fun to go to! Get on it, Norwich.

13 September Te Aquarium,Lowestoft
Scott Langley has been a globe trotting DJ for 24 years and played in over 200 cities and 60 countries. He’s now taken up residency at Lowestoft’s Aquarium, the hottest new live venue in East Anglia, and will be treating dance music fans to the finest in cutting edge underground house music combined with mind blowing acts and visuals on 13th September. Featuring Scott himself on the one’s and two’s, along with international DJ DeeAfro and visual artists Ungewinster and Twisted Maids, this is a really innovative night of deep tech, underground house and the weird and wonderful. Young Austrian DJ Axel Fowley will be flying in from Vienna ‘specially for this event. Vie du Cirque are also running the Aquarium’s rather special New Year’s Eve bash, so if you like your house hard and your art a bit unusual, this is THE place to be!
