- for all your pet requirements

Pinions is a large independent pet food shop along the main A20 road in Ditton. It has been owned and run by the Wrights since 1973, concentrating on selling pet foods and accessories since the early 80’s when the name was changed to Pinions Pet Foods as we know it now. In recent months we have had a brand new storeroom built which now gives us 1700 square feet of improved storage space, which is vital in helping us move the many tonnes of feed dispensed every week.

Whilst we retain the feel of an old style pet shop with many of our foods still being weighed out

from the open sacks, we are also moving into the 21st century with this website. Whether it is by the Kilogram or by the bulk sack we cater for all. Through the many years Pinions have been open we have taken pride in not only the quality of the service we offer, but the huge selection of foods and accessories we always keep in stock for all your domestic pets needs, from the smallest of hamsters to the largest of dogs we have something for all. Our staff are NVQ and City and Guild qualified so we are able to give you the best impartial advice on nutrition, housing and the general well being of your pets.

We are open 7 days a week Monday – Saturday 9.00am until 5.30pm & Sunday 10.00am until 4.30pm. There is plenty of free parking right outside.

Business Focus Drive into Summer with David

DAVID Smart has a passion for seeing his learner drivers ripping up their L plates as soon as possible. He said: “I became a driving instructor because I wanted a job with real satisfaction

and there is nothing better than seeing someone pass their test first time. “I was also always being told by friends and work colleagues that I was a calm and relaxed type of person and that I would make a great driving instructor,” he added.

David was trained by Learner Driving Centres, which claim to save individuals about £450 in lesson costs.

According to Government figures, learners each buy on average 52 hours of driving

tuition. In total, those who passed had on average 67 hours of driving experience including practice with family or friends. But with LDC’s cutting-edge training materials and methods, the average number of hours to pass the test is closer to 30 - a potential saving of up to 22 hours. David said: “Everybody is different and the LD System allows for flexibility in lessons so that you learn to drive safely at a rate that suits you.”

For a limited period only David is offering the first five hours of driving lessons for only £60, plus the LD workbook worth £14.95 for just £10. This offer is not available to those nearing test standard. He added: “To help you decide which course would best suit you I provide a free, no obligation, home visit. At this meeting I explain to you how the LD System works and what each course provides.”
