There are many different kinds of hoists each with
different specifications. 30 KG wheelchair hoists can be used to lift manual wheelchairs into the back of most cars. They are designed to fold down or take up minimal space. Up to 150 KG hoists are for storing powered wheelchairs and scooters in the back of estate cars, MPV and 4X4 vehicles. These hoists have powered lifting/lowering and powered rotation. Platform lifts demand very little effort from the user; just drive on to the platform, secure the wheelchair, press the hand control
button and it is lifted into the vehicle for you. Individual assessments are carried out to enable the
right hoist to be fitted to suit each persons requirements to ensure ease of use and suitability. This means that
