TORONTO, ON – Feb. 27, 2014 – Easter weekend – April 18 to 20, Ontario’s Mane Event is back, and better than ever. With prominent clinicians, trainers, educators and riders, there’s something for everyone. This fully comprehensive


equestrian event is perfect for all kinds of horse enthusiasts – from novice to expert, and everything in between. This equestrian event is a ‘show within a show’ a feature in the 21st annual All About Pets Show – a top-notch consumer pet show with hun- dreds of vendors, thousands of products, renowned speakers, entertainment and much more. The event boasts viewings, per- formances, and competitions from pets of all kinds, from cats and dogs, fish, birds, reptiles and of course, horses. Ontario’s Mane Event – a


‘show within a show’ is an equestrian showcase with a dedi- cated exhibition hall. Free demonstrations will be hosted in the 60x120 ring with plenty of seating – by leading and world- renowned clinicians, such as: • Josh Lyons: One of the most talented horse trainers and clini- cians in the world. In addition to developing one of the world’s most sought after equine educa- tional program, Lyons appears on TV, and contributes articles


for various horse publications. • Craig Cameron: Hall of Fame Cowboy and 2010 Road to the Horse Champion – deemed “public defender of the horse”. Craig dedicates himself to those who educate their horses by first educating themselves. “The Cowboy’s Clinician,” starts hun- dreds of horses each year, and hosts multiple clinics at his ranche. Clinic topics range from basic to advanced horsemanship, colt starting, ranch and cattle work, problem-solving, reining and trail obstacles. • Maya Markowski: Owner, operator, and head trainer at Equest Dressage is an up and coming rider and trainer operat- ing out of Winterwood Farms in St.Clements Ontario. Maya and her horse Lumiere will be spend- ing 2014 training, and working towards the goal of representing Canada in dressage competition on home turf at the 2015 Pan American Games. •

Mahood will also host the FouFou Dog Fashion Show on Centre Stage, as well as the Parade of Breeds in the Dog Per- formance Ring, where breeders will be on hand to talk about a variety of breeds at the World of Dogs area, including – Bernese Mountain Dogs, Border Collies, German Shepherds, Labradors and many more. Visitors will also get to meet Victoria Stilwell – one of the most recognized and respected dog trainers.
