University of Glasgow Known for its nightlife, Scotland’s second-oldest University is one to consider if you want a balance between working hard and playing hard. Part of the Russell Group elite, Glasgow offers a wide range of courses, sometimes eclectic, to complement the vibrant city and exciting urban life you can experience. The large number of students at the University (over 15,000 undergraduates) can be overwhelming, but the diversity of the student body is one to be appreciated and cherished.

University of Dundee The University of Dundee is known for its prestigious medical and dental school, both of which were voted the best in the United Kingdom two years running. Additionally, it has a

Law School which is special in its own right, as it is the only place in the United Kingdom where a student can read both English and Scottish Law and choose to study them at the same time. Outside the University walls, the city of Dundee is one that prides itself on its low cost of living with numerous opportunities to experience something unique, such as Mills astronomical Observatory and the Law, where an extinct volcano exists.

University of Aberdeen The city of Aberdeen is arguably a force to be reckoned with, with it being named by HSBC in 2012 as the only Scottish ‘super city’ to help spearhead the UK’s economy. Its shopping centres are amongst the best in Scotland and there are an abundance of

museums and galleries, as well as festivals, waiting to showcase the culture of Aberdeen, meaning that one will never run out of things to do. With regards to the University itself, there have been four Nobel Peace Prize winners to have been educated at the University of Aberdeen. Like many of its Scottish counterparts, Aberdeen has a rich history infused with a desire for modernity.
