for small companies to shop for affordable plans through an online marketplace called the Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP), also available through
www.healthcare.gov. Trough the SHOP marketplace, companies can compare plans offering four different levels of coverage. Tere are no deadlines involved, so companies can enroll at any time.
Companies with fewer than 25 full-time
employees who buy insurance for their workers through the SHOP marketplace may qualify for a tax credit worth up to 50 percent of their premium costs, while still deducting the rest of premium costs not covered by the tax credit.
