Ramada Singapore and Days Hotels at Zhongshan Park is looking to double its Middle Eastern guest numbers within the next 18 months to four percent of its total business, up from the current two percent. The facility comprises
two hotels – the three-star Days Hotel and the four-star Ramada Singapore, both of which opened in early 2013. The properties are gearing up for Middle Eastern guests with special facilities that appeal to visitors from the region, according to Tony Cousens, General Manager.
“Recently, we obtained
full Halal certification for our restaurant, 21 on Rajah, in the Days Hotel. So, for guests from the Middle East, or those who prefer Halal, we can present a fully Halal-certified facility, offering them complete peace of mind,” Cousens said. “Our objective by the end of
2015 is to double our business from the Middle East and Gulf region. We are primarily looking at Qatar and Saudi Arabia – and of course the UAE – while Bahrain and Oman also feature high on the list of our priority markets in the region.”
