Authority Pasaia Port is located in the Bay of Biscay, 15 km. from the French border and directly connected with the Atlantic Trans European Corridor. It has a major role in the logistic chains of the steel and automobile industries. Its rail and motorway connections are unequalled. Three RORO lines link the port with the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Belgium. The port’s next goal is establishing container lines with the British Islands and the North of Europe. The first phase of the container terminal will be fully operative by 2015.
