as shrill, squeaky and lightning-fast, Tucker’s trademark style paired with his frenetic ener- gy and impeccable comedic timing has been his calling card since he hosted the Columbia High School talent show in his hometown of Decatur, GA, in the late 1980s. “I told my fi rst joke onstage and the whole au-


ditorium laughed,” recounted the host of the 2013 BET Awards in an interview with the Comedy Shaq Network. “It was like an epiphany. I was like this is what I’m going to do the rest of my life.”
