The Anaheim Community Services Department recognizes the following businesses, organizations and individuals for their outstanding support by donating $1,000 or more to our programs during the months of September, October and November 2013.
ANAHEIM PUBLIC LIBRARY FOUNDATION made a generous donation of $30,000 to support the eBook collection!
FRIENDS OF THE ANAHEIM PUBLIC LIBRARY donated $6,486 to support several Fall activities and needs including:
• Ponderosa Library – Family programs • Haskett Library – Hispanic Heritage Month programs
• Euclid Library – New tables • Sunkist Library – Special program supplies • Central Library – Headphones for the children's computers, Hispanic Heritage and Halloween Supplies
• War Comes Home project
FRIENDS OF THE CANYON HILLS LIBRARY contributed over $1,300 supporting Talk & Treats, the Senior Book Talk, the Reading Ranger Club, Costumes and special performances at the Canyon Hills Library.
RUBIO'S FRESH MEXICAN GRILL donated chips and salsa valued at over $1,000 to support the library “Top Chef Salsa Competition”. Rubio's also provided the judges and a presentation on how to make salsa.
THE DISNEYLAND RESORT made runners' dreams come true at the “Happiest Race on Earth” Half Marathon Weekend numerous programs!

ICNA RELIEF USA PROGRAMS donated $3,000 towards large storage containers to support the La Palma Park Homeless Project pilot program.
THE ANAHEIM TRANSPORTATION FAIR & CHILI COOK-OFF raised $8,300 for Oak Canyon Nature Center programs including interpretive exhibits, trail restoration, family programs and nature outreach.
PAC SUN donated backpacks full of school supplies and gift cards valued at $1,050 for Project S.A.Y. and Youth Center members.
