Learn the beautiful art form of belly dance in a fun, supportive atmosphere. Belly dance is a wonderful low-impact exercise that is great for women of all ages and sizes. The benefits of belly dance include body toning, increased flexibility, and improved posture. Students will learn isolations, shimmies, and undulations using the head, shoulder, arm, torso, and hip movements. Class will not be held: 5/13, 5/15, & 5/17. Instructor: Mara.

Belly Dancing - Intermediate
Take your dance to the next level with more advanced Belly Dance movements. You will work on combination steps and rhythms, as well as improvisational and performance dance skills. You will need finger cymbals and veil and will be encouraged to perform. Students should complete two sessions of Beginning Belly Dance or get instructor’s approval before registering.
