ARTS & CRAFTS - YOUTH Ceramics


This is a basic ceramics class with guided step by step lessons that teach students how to build in 3D and prepare pieces for the kiln. All work will be glazed and fired. Projects include animals, pots, pinch pots and mugs, vases, and tiles. Instructor: The Drawing Board Staff.

Ceramic Creations


Have a blast learning to turn clay into wonderful creatures and other fun projects. We will hand build the pieces as we learn techniques such as coiling, scoring and slab construction, and decorate them with underglazes. Different projects each week. All pieces will be glazed and fired. A $20 material fee is due at the first class. Aprons provided. No class 5/26. Instructor: Lucia Henry.

Combine fun drawing exercises with creative painting projects to build the skills of your young artist. Elements of art will be introduced through a variety of media such as acrylics on canvas, pastels, charcoal, watercolors, and more. Emphasis is placed on techniques as students explore the work of famous artists. All materials and aprons are provided. A $20 material fee is payable to the instructor at the first class.
