THE VIEW FROM THE DARTMOUTH OFFICE EVERY SINGLE PICTURE WITHOUT ANY EXCEPTION, IS TAKEN FROM ONE PLACE......

From his lofty perch in Above Town, Andy Kyle daily photographs the activities in, on, above and around the River Dart that can be seen from there. With one of the best views in the south Hams, there is little of interest that escapes his electronic photographic eye. These photographs published here in By The Dart are just a very small selection. To see the hundreds published each month, visit www.TheViewFromTheDartmouthOffice.com Or just put ‘Dartmouth view’ into Google.

14 January 2014 07:59 am Is it a bird - or is it a plane? Or are we having a lark? no definitely not a lark. Could be a duck though. But really it’s much more like a Boeing 747!

31 January 2014 07:41 am In many ways the reflection off the river was as impressive as the sky. As sunrises go, it was one of our best. Quite a way to round off January.

3 February 2014 12:25 pm yet another casualty of the storms is recovered by the stalwart Harbour patrol. This dinghy was found in front of what we call the “amusement arcades’ Which are no such thing and are actually rather smart riverside huts.

3 February 2014 09:15 am We’d heard tell of waves this high before.....but whether it was comforting to witness this from inside Kingswear Castle is a moot point. Or maybe a damp point.

7 February 2014 02:40 pm lobbed off, bit by bit. There is no more the shouting of “Timber!” This beautiful riverside tree became another victim of the storms after its roots helped cause the sea wall to collapse.

10 February 2014 03:52 pm yep, yet another double rainbow. Maybe the Dart should be simply renamed the Rainbow River.
