5th Annual Men of the Desert Fashion Show Enjoy an afternoon of distinctive and stylish
International Bear Convergence Frolic with the furry and fabulous at
the International Bear Convergence taking place in Palm Springs Thursday, February 13 through Monday, Febru- ary 17. The desert oasis will transform into a winter den over Presidents’ Day Weekend, as more than 4,000 frisky, fuzzy bears, their friends and admirers are expected to attend. Event Producer Steve (Stevo) Harris and Coproducer Chris Vance are determined to make a splash in the worldwide bear event circuit, as this winter event will attract those seeking sun and fun. “It was a long time coming,” says Harris. “The bear com- munity has grown considerably over the past ten years and it’s time to bring it to one of the gayest cities in the world with the most perfect weather.” The pool parties, dances and mixers, as well as top DJs and live entertainment, are part of the activities over the four-day event.
