Hop Pole is very much a traditional country pub. The large conservatory dining area is spacious with contemporary furnishings and a perfect setting for either a light lunch or evening carvery. The Sunday carvery is especially popular, with a choice of meats, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and a selection of vegetable – early booking is recommended. The pub is also now taking bookings for Valentines meals.
The Black Horse Inn at Thurnham is an 18th century freehouse inn with luxury accommodation and a restaurant in a wonderful rural setting tucked beneath the steep face of the North Downs. The restaurant offers an extensive menu and the chefs pride themselves on using the best local
produce to give an exciting range of mouth-watering English and continental dishes. Also available are light lunches, children’s menu and traditional Sunday Roasts.
The Delhi Spice Indian restaurant offers a great selection of traditional Indian food guaranteed to warm you up this winter. The restaurant and takeaway can be found at The Rose pub on the Ashford Road in Bearsted. Diners can receive £5.00 off their bill when they dine on Monday to Thursdays until the end of February.
