Ernesto (Marcus DeAnda) is a disillusioned gay man dealing with an ex as a roommate and another former lover hospital- ized in a coma. The Butler With a masterful hand and an exceptional eye
for detail, director Lee Daniels’ film The Butler traces a timeline from the beginnings of the civil rights movement through the turbulent end of the 1960s and beyond. The focal point is a butler in the White House played by Forest Whitaker and how events shaped him and his family over a 60-year period.
