Our courses MSc Psychology


Our British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited conversion course is suitable for graduates of other disciplines who wish to pursue a career in psychology but whose first degree is not recognised by the BPS and you do not have to have studied any psychology previously.


The course is designed to provide dedicated supportive teaching tailored to the particular needs of postgraduate conversion students and to facilitate the development of a strong course identity among students.


MSc Applied Child Psychology Looks at the psychological development in regard to children and adolescents. It focuses on the implications of psychological theory and research across a range of applied settings.


This an ideal course for anyone wanting a career that involves working with children or for those interested in securing a doctoral training place in educational psychology.


MRes / MSc Psychological Research Methods Provides extensive training for those looking to develop a broad range of skills relevant to independent research in preparation for further training as a professional psychologist or research role.


The MSc has a larger taught component whilst the MRes places greater emphasis on the conduct of independent research.
