Lots of constituents have contacted me to raise their con- cerns about the privatisation of Royal Mail. Despite wide- spread opposition and the strong campaign that called on the


Government to think again, Ministers pushed through the sell-off last month.


However, as the markets jumped on the Royal Mail shares, it was absolutely clear that the Government has hugely undervalued this much-cherished UK institution and that taxpayers have been ripped off.
