KUDZOO KINDLE? Dear Michael, We have really been enjoying the maga-
zine. I especially liked your Duane Allman cover story and last issue’s interview with Delbert McClinton. I love the new digital magazine format, but I wish that it would work with my Kindle. I can read it fine on my PC but it will not open on my other devices. Is there anything that can be done about this? Thank you for your time and for all that you do for Southern music.

Dear Alice, We sincerely hope that we will soon be able to offer versions of the magazine for the vari- ous reading platforms. As you probably know, each one requires its own individual code and set up. That includes Kindle, nook, iPad, Android, etc. The company that hosts our magazine does an outstanding job. Sadly, the cost involved in the technology to make KUDZOO cross-platform on all the dif- ferent devices would be astronomical. We are, however, looking into it. The first ver- sions that we are trying to make available are for iPad and nook. Meanwhile, I sin- cerely hope you will con- tinue to read the magazine on your PC or laptop. Thank you for writing. I read were you said you’re going to have to start charging $.99 per issue for the maga- zine. “Big fat hairy deal. “As far as I’m con- cerned you should be get three or four bucks! But what do I know? Hey. How about an arti- cle on the great new Delaney and Bonnie? I just don’t feel like they get the credit they de- serve when it comes to rock ‘n roll history. Thanks.
