work in the music business. Bonnie recorded several succesful solo albums, and became a member of the Capricorn Records family dur- ing the ‘70’s. She recorded and toured with Dickey Betts on his solo ventures as well as with the entire Allman Brothers Band. Bonnie appeared on countless albums by others, and enjoyed sussess as an actress, both on televi- sion (Roseanne) and on the big screen (The Doors, The Guardian) Bonnie was co-author of several popular


songs, including "Groupie (Superstar)" (a Top 10 hit for The Carpenters in 1971; also cov- ered by ex-Delaney and Bonnie backing vo- calist Rita Coolidge, Bette Midler, Sonic Youth, and many others) and Clapton's "Let It Rain." Her latest album is called Beautiful. Bonnie continues to perform today. Delaney, in turn, recorded a series of great


records as well. His final solo album, A New Kind of Blues, was released in early 2008. He died in December 2008, leaving behind a mu- sical legacy that will live on forever.
