A fish and chip supper is a must for the cooler autumnal evenings so why not pay a visit to The Chequers Fish Bar in Lenham. The family run business prides itself on using only the best quality ingredients - fish from Grimsby Fish Market and potatoes sourced from local suppliers. All the food is freshly fried in pure vegetable oil. On Fridays the fish bar now serves salmon, which is available grilled or fried along with all the usual favourites.


The White Horse at Sandway is a traditional public house found in


rural Lenham. The pub serves a variety of specialist dishes prepared using only the best Kentish produce. The Lunchtime special menu – priced at £10.50 for 2 courses or £13.50 for 3 courses is great value for money and definitely worth a try. The new Wednesday Steak Night is proving very popular, feast on an 8oz steak accompanied by hand cut chips and salad for £12.50.
