Blue Bird Corporation welcomed Bill Landreth as its new general manager of parts and service. Landreth has more than 30 years of experience in parts and service management for the truck and school bus industries. Previously, he worked with American LaFrance, and prior to that he was with Daimler Trucks and Freightliner, where he held various positions including regional parts manager. First Student named Bobbie Hartman senior director of market- ing and sales support. Hartman will continue developing and execut- ing customer marketing plans and brand strategies while also oversee- ing the creation and production of business proposals for the school bus contractor. Hartman has led many First Student initiatives, in- cluding the recent redesign of First-

Poulsen brings more than 23 years of propane industry expe- rience to his new role, most recently as regional sales and marketing director for Heritage Propane and AmeriGas Propane. He currently serves as chairman on the Nevada Board for the Regulation of Lique- fied Petroleum Gas. Stertil-Koni announced that Nathaniel Treen has joined the company as CAD Drafter. Treen brings a strong technical back- ground to his new post, previously serving as a CAD Drafter at Leach Wallace & Associates, an engineer- ing consulting and design firm. He also has extensive experience in the field of CAD as well as graphic engineering drafting.

BERGSTROM The National School Transporta-
tion Association presented its 2013 Golden Merit Awards, which recog- nize achievements by school bus operators in various areas including safety and training, to six recipients at its annual meeting and conven- tion held in Tulsa, Okla., in late July. They are: Kitty Anderson of R.W. Harmon & Sons, which serves the Blue Valley (Kansas) School District; Gail Bergstrom, general manager of Durham School Service’s facil- ity in Racine, Wis.; Dale Duley, regional operations manager for Milwaukee County at GO Riteway Transportation Group; Frank Luciano and Susan Moorehead of First Student, who are senior VP, northeast region and area general manager for northern California, respectively; and Greg Stock, re- gional manager for Stock Transpor- tation in Ontario, Canada.
