HD420 & DR40 DVRs www.radioeng.com REI’s two new DVRs, the HD420 and DR40, provide durability and flexibility to meet the changing safety needs of passengers, drivers, vehicles and fleets, the company stated. Each DVR includes an extruded aluminum chassis, fan-less design and wireless capability. The HD420 DVR records up to four channels of audio and video at 120 frames per seconds at D1 resolution, while the DR40 DVR records at 60 frames per second at D1 resolution.


SAFETY VISION Sentinel www.safetyvision.com The Sentinel DVR Monitor combines an eight-inch LCD touch-screen display, control box and emergency backup battery with five camera inputs for an all-in-one safety and security solution, according to the company. The Sentinel holds 128 GB of video file storage with four 32-GB SD cards, providing up to 148 hours of recording time protected in a secure, lockable compartment. Other safety features include GPS location, active triggers, time stamps, accelerometer data and intuitive configuration.


SECURED MOBILITY, LLC SMART Tag www.securedmobility.com The SMART Tag by Secured Mobility, LLC utilizes RFID technology and cloud hosting to monitor when students get on and off the school bus while offering a host of other capabilities. Designed to include the bus driver’s perspective, the SMART Tag uses an Android tablet to help drivers to perform efficiently and effectively, according to the company. Key features include a driver login, student photos and profiles, student rosters, routes, an automated seating chart and parental notifications.
