partners can be reassured that we will continually work with them to protect the ATM, their staff and their customers who use it.

A fair percentage of upper income customers visiting UK Casinos have overseas accounts. How easy (taking into account their respective account transaction limits imposed by certain countries) is it for these people to access their accounts and view balances there from a YourCash terminal? Our casino ATMs provide cardholders access to the LINK, Visa and MasterCard networks and we offer balance enquiries as well as cash access. It should be easy for customers to access these services; however their card issuers will occasionally block certain transactions as well as place limits on the amount of cash that can be withdrawn. We’re also working on a new service called Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC). In layman’s terms, it will mean a customer can withdraw an amount in UK sterling, but can see exactly how much their account with be debited, in their native currency. We are currently at testing phase, but are looking forward to rolling this out to our casino sites in the very near future.

YourCash technology - what are the key characteristics that make YourCash ATM terminals distinctive from others? Technology is very important – we are a technology payment business so we have a strategic team dedicated to ensuring we have best technology suited to our business. Fundamentally, it was really important to us to

have a machine that resembled a bank ATM as much as possible – we wanted consumers to instantly trust the machine and to find using it as easy as possible. Therefore, we roll out machines that have the same key pad and screen design that consumers will find at their bank. We have developed useful “quick” buttons such as “balance and cash” where consumers can access both transactions just with the push of one button. Our vibrant and memorable YourCash branding also attracts consumers and builds

brand loyalty and trust. We were also one of the first Independent ATM Deployer (IAD) to implement third party on-screen and receipt advertising via the ATM allowing consumers to take advantage of some great promotions.

What’s the best piece of business advice you have ever been given? Two pieces of advice actually. First, “always have a Plan B!” And I do. Followed closely with optionality around Plan C, D and E! You have to prepare for the unexpected, the uncontrollable the things that impact your business and be able to continue to move forward positively. Which links to the other piece of advice – “change brings opportunity”. So I am a great adaptor to the prevailing winds, and what opportunities rather than headaches those can bring.

For those Casino operations that are considering changing ATM providers, what would you like to say to them as to why it should be to Your Cash? We would love to speak to more Casino operators about our ATMs! We have a strong relationship with our current casino partners who we have serviced for 10 years. We understand the needs of their business – the late nights, high cash usage, high percentage of foreign cards, security and the industry’s regulations too. We can offer a robust ATM solution, backed by a great customer service, bespoke branding and, of course, competitive incentives!

What are the company’s main goals for

2013 /2014? Continuing to provide a fantastic level of service to our customers is absolutely fundamental. We will then build on that by widening our UK & European footprint and launching further enhancements to our ATM platform. We are also in discussions with a number of Financial Institutions about taking on the running of their ATM estates allowing them to focus on their core business whilst we take care of the ATM side of things – which is what the team at YourCash do best.
