On the2ndit’s the first gig of the month with the rock bandHeaven’s Basement atTe Waterfront Studio. I’m sure I’ve heard them on the radio in my car, so they must be doing pretty well! Support comes from Buffalo Summer + Skarlet Riot.
It’s a bit of a beast on the 4th!Alphabet Bands in conjunction with Planet of SoundPresents Vuvuvuvultures + Box Light + Horse PartyatOpen. I saw Vuvuvultures when they played Norwich last time - they were really great – I recommend that you go and watch them and dance and smile and enjoy it!!
Collider are playing at the Hog In Armouron the5th. Teir drummer is moving to Canada, so they are giving him a right nice send off gig party. Go say bye! Miles Ottoprovides lovely support!

Finally on that Sabbath, its ‘a night of heavy occult doom metal weirdness’ what sounds awesome!! Te information online says that the show is at King Edward II,but I’m pretty sure that they mean King Edward VII!? Anyway, it’s presented byFuneral Witch Promotions.Te bands on the bill are Horse Latitudes (Finland)+ Consecration (Norwich)+ S&M(London). I am very excited about this show.
I am also very pleased that I can tell you about a show that is happening at B2!! When I was a teenager I went to B2 all the time; let’s all re-live my teenage years and go there on the 8th Julyyeah!? Playing on this occasion are Underline the Sky + Dying Breeds + Paper Cages + Lost at Seven.
On the11th, Johnny Walker is playing a Charity Fundraiser for Musical Keys at Open.

Friday 12this a night where you will just have to go to three shows! Firstly, TweeOFF! presents – Dat Politics + Biscuit Mouth + PopopatNorwich Arts Centre. It’s RosieTweeOFF!’s birthday celebration too, so yay! Te second awesome show happening on that night of the 12th is Tese Ghosts presented by Te Tilting Sky at Open.Te THIRD awesome show is Wooden Arms(EP Launch) with Halls at Octagon Chapel.
Ten there’s a couple of consecutives; following on from that beautiful duo the night before, on the13th, Elvis Costello and the Imposters are doing that big Tetford Forest thing. Next, on the14th it’s the excellent Friends at Norwich Arts Centre.
Skipping ahead a few, on the 18th it’sBy the Sea + PlantmanatNorwich Arts Centre.
It’s a big one on the25th when One For Te Road presents Hello Bear at Norwich Arts Centre.OFTR is a new night in Norwich and we definitely need all that we can get so good on them, exciting stuff all round!
On that same night (25th) Mal Webbis playing at Te Bicycle Shop.
Funeral Witch Promotions are back on the 27th, this time with some crushing death and black metal warfare! Tey present Eastern Front + Immortal Empire + Fallen Humanity all at the same venue as before (I think),King Edward VII!
End your month inGreat Yarmouth!!On the28th there is a Showcase of Escalator Music artists featuring Adriano Adewale. Escalator do some amazing things, so go and support them and their artists at St. George’s Teatre.
