School acts bid to share stage with stars

ORGANISERS of Kent's biggest music festival have launched a competition for all schools and colleges in Kent, the winners of which will appear on the same stage as BRIT-nominated Stooshe, X Factor winner Joe McElderry and Capital FM Breakfast Show host Dave Berry. Primary and secondary schools as well as colleges are invited to submit videos of bands or choirs which will be judged by Dave Berry and Euro- vision winner Cheryl Baker of Bucks Fizz fame. The winning act will be invited to perform two songs on Family Summer Sunday, which also features top 10 artist Charlie Brown, Coun- terfeit Stones, Killer Queen, Gareth Gates and former X Fac- tor finalist BenMills.
