Radha and Yoga Slackers, along with Milwaukee’s Pam Bliss and Chicago’s Daren Friesen. Kirtan artists include Jai Uttal, Wah! and Dave Stringer; Milwaukee’s Ragani; Minneapolis’ Kirtan Path, Wild Moon Bhaktas and Sitara and Kalyani with Pavan Kumar; and Chicago’s Amy and the Bliss Tribe and Rich Logan. H.H. Pujiya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji Maharaj, one of India’s most beloved spiritual leaders, will give the keynote ad- dress. In addition, David Haberman, professor of religious studies at Indiana University, will speak on revelations of divine love in the Bhagavad Gita, and 15 other workshops will be offered. The festival includes extensive breathwork classes, as well as a marketplace with eco-friendly vendors of high-vibrational food, yoga gear, clothing and crafts.

Midwest Renewable Energy Association Energy Fair
T
he Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA) will host the nation’s largest and longest-running educa- tional event about energy and sustainability from June 21 to 23 at Renew The Earth Institute, in Custer. Now in its 24th year, the Energy Fair boasts nearly 20,000 attendees throughout the weekend and features more than 200 workshops and 250 exhibitors to connect them with the products, ideas and informa- tion needed to lower energy bills and improve the effort toward living sustainably with the help of renewable energy. Entertainment includes inspirational keynote speakers,
children’s activities, building and gardening demonstrations and music. Locally produced food and beer produced with a solar- powered brew process are available for purchase. MREA has also coordinated long-distance bus travel arrangements, extend- ed workshops, renewable energy tours and camping options for purchase, in addition to standard admission.
