The Glenrock Model railway was formed in 1994 in the garden of the Glenrock Art Studio. Since 1999 it has opened to the public once a year to raise money for charity. The railway consists of a 180ft circuit of “O” gauge double track, with three stations, two villages and a castle (and a lifeboat station).
Bank Holiday Monday 27th May 2013 - 10am – 5pm Chapel, Windsor.
The railway, built by well-known, local artist Ian Pethers, is in two sections. The first is based on Windsor, which is close to his childhood home and the second is based on the Tamar Valley with replicas of station buildings from Calstock, Gunnislake and Bere Alston. This year there will be 2 new additions: a model of Cotehele House, currently under construction and a model of the Albert Memorial
