WHISTLE-STOP TOUR

Mr Hancock had a whistle-stop tour of some of the College’s facilities including the 18 metre wind turbine tower which was installed just over a year ago to train workers in the wind farm industry. He also watched Uniformed Services students being put through their paces with an emergency evacuation drill in the Training Tank before being wowed by just how realistic the Ships’ Bridge Simulator was.

APPRENTICES

Mr Hancock also spoke with Engineering Apprentices and watched them at work in the recently upgraded workshop which now boasts state-of-the-art training facilities.

There was also time to meet travel and tourism students and answer their questions.
