n Friday the 30th November we welcomed over 160 people to the Corn Exchange Edinburgh.


It was our 10th AGM and the theme was ‘Making the dream possible’. The day started with an information fair featuring:


• Carr Gomm Charity Shop (raised £414 on the day) • Wellbeing & Recovery • Dreams Can Come True Fund • Community Involvement and Participation • Scottish Natural Heritage • Click Go software • Pure Gym exercise classes • AtOne Holistic therapy massage


• Beauty technicians and nail therapists from Stevenson College Edinburgh


• Vox Pops Opinion booth


Our guest speaker, Laurence Clark is an internationally-acclaimed comedian, presenter, writer and actor who has cerebral palsy. He has had several successful shows at the Edinburgh Fringe. Laurence and his wife Adele both spoke at our AGM.


The other guest speakers on the day were: • Celia, supported in Glasgow • Caroline, mother of someone we support in Edinburgh • Matt Dunnigan, Home Care Assistant, Edinburgh


It was a great day, many thanks to all those who attended our event, our speakers and all those who helped to make it such a great success.
