How long have you worked for Carr Gomm?
Margaret’s Dreams Can Come True story
Margaret recently applied to our Dreams Can Come True Fund and was awarded funds to catch up with her previous Support Worker Ileis, who had supported Margaret for many years before transferring to our Highland service.
‘A big thank-you to everyone who supported me on the 4th of October and the money that I was given by the Dreams Can Come True Fund. This was a day I’ll never forget. It started when I was picked up by a limousine with Fiona Patrick (Senior Support Worker) who so kindly did lots for me. We went to Harvey Nichols Department Store where I had my nails done at the champagne bar then on to Jenners for a lovely blow dry and style of my hair. I will never forget the kindness of that very special day from Carr Gomm and the surprises that Fiona and Alley Cowan (Support Assistant) organised for me.’
Margaret added
‘I also had a lovely time with Ileis, one of my original Support Workers who travelled down from the Highlands service. It reminded me of the happy times when she supported me. We had a lovely lunch at Harvey Nichols, I went for soup, steak and chips and a
martini!’
