Te Arkansas Circuit Clerks Association held its annual fall continuing educa- tion meeting in October in beautiful Stone County. An array of fall colors and various speakers greeted the members who attended the conference. “Chances are you know someone who has unclaimed property,” Janet Harris with the Auditor of State’s office said. “We have $178 million worth of unclaimed property waiting to be claimed in the state.” Harris informed clerks about the Great Arkansas Treasure Hunt where her office focuses on managing unclaimed property and locating rightful owners. Circuit Clerks also shared ideas and experiences with e-recording and e-banking.
