Assessors gather in Garland County
Assessors from across the state went to Hot Springs for the 58th annual Ar- kansas Assessors’ Seminar Oct. 23-26. Te conference opened with general sessions where state agencies and local
government representatives made presentations featuring pertinent informa- tion. Te session was the launching pad for many conversations and allowed assessors to share their experiences and to learn best practices. Topics in the break out workshops ranged from personal property trends to agricultural land valuation and from customer service to the income approach.
