Arkansas Coroner’s Association meets to talk legislation


The Arkansas Coroner’s Association met in mid-November at the AAC with state agencies and representatives from funeral homes to discuss possible legislation to launch an in-state coroner training program. Lisa Wooten (middle), a UAMS College of Public Health student attended the meeting and has studied the issue for the past several months. Her thesis focused on defining the need for coro- ner training in the state of Arkansas.
