Status
KCB was one of the first independent colleges to be a Government approved Degree Course provider by Act of Parliament in 1998 by what was then called the Department for Education & Science with approval continuing for over 14 years shown by the current listing on the
gov.uk website.
KCB was awarded “Highly Trusted Status” by the UKBA.
KCB was approved by the UK Quality Assurance Agency [QAA] - The highest judgement of "confidence" was delivered by the Quality Assurance Agency following an Educational review of the College.
A History of Academic Delivery
Established in 1982 specialising in courses leading to professional business qualifications.
1992 started courses leading to degrees with Universities of Hertfordshire, Thames Valley, Sunderland, Glamorgan, Portsmouth and London.
1998 listed body status as a UK Government recognised degree course provider.
2008 started degree courses with the University of Wales.
2013 validated to offer Glyndwr University degree courses.
